Therapeutic Thursday – Full Moon Rituals

Hi luvs,

Tonight we celebrate the FULL MOON once again!

November’s full moon, the beaver moon also know as the frost moon.

Each full moon for me represents a time to reset, renew and recharge. A time to check in with my mind, body and spirit. A time to set my intentions. A spiritual cleansing if you will.

I also have a set of “full moon rituals” that I like to do that I will share with you.

At the full Moon, the energy builds and builds….there’s an explosive outgoing aspect to it. All of nature grows and is more vital at the full Moon. This surge allows you to take action on behalf of those new Moon intentions you set two week prior. A full Moon ritual might involve taking one solid step, with a symbolic action. And it can be a powerful time to release, cast out, unburden yourself, purge, etc. You celebrate your emergence by stepping out of an old skin, identity, behavior, attitude, relationship. The ritual helps you by marking this inner transformation in a formal way.
A full Moon ritual might involve purification by one of the elements. Most often, it’s fire, and done by casting something you don’t want into the flames. One idea: 1) Write what you’re releasing down on a stick or piece of paper.  2) resolve to let go as you throw it into the fire. 3) Throw the stick or paper  into the fire. This can be done as a group, with everyone sitting around the fire…or in your own private ceremony. Each person can seal their action of letting go by speaking it aloud, If you are alone, write down all that does not serve you anymore on a piece of paper (attitudes, emotions, relationships, people, illness, pain, habits, addictions) whatever you want to release. Go outside and burn the paper under the full moon and give thanks.

Water can be used to cleanse in rituals. Fill a bowl with water , write  down what you  want  to draw into your life on a piece of paper. After you  read it  aloud,  put your hands in the bowl to signify the cleansing of the old, to open to the new.

MEDITATION

If at all possible for this healing meditation, allow yourself to stand or sit barefoot upon the earth in a quiet place bathing yourself directly in the light of the full moon. This is a powerful opportunity to trigger an ongoing purification process of body, mind, emotions and spirit and of Mother Earth and for letting go of all that no longer serves you.
If you cannot do this meditation physically under the light of the full moon, then just imagine with all your senses what it would feel like if you were standing bathed in the light of the full moon.
Breathe deeply, filling your lungs with the cool, crisp evening air, and then exhaling slowly and patiently, feeling worries, stresses and tensions just melting out of the body and mind, as you relax deeper and deeper, take  long, slow deep breaths in and out taking you comfortably into deeper  states of relaxation – Everything else is becoming unimportant and is fading into the background as you connect more and more with the energy of the full moon.

I have so much more to share but I think I will save it for the next full moon!

Happy Transformation Tuesday!

This is the day I share my tools of transformation with you. These are all things that I use in my life to help transform me into the highest version of self. Mind, Body and Spirit!

FEAR

FALSE EVIDENCE APPEARING REAL!

I say this over and over to myself to remind me of what FEAR really is.

I deal with FALSE EVIDENCE APPEARING REAL frequently.

FEAR of Judgement, FEAR of not being good enough, FEAR of being good enough, FEAR of failing.

And what comes with that?

RESISTANCE, LOW ENERGY, LOW VIBRATION, ANXIETY, DEPRESSION, etc…

Yes, I’ve had it all and it’s an everyday process to stay in the allowing.

What helps me is reminders of gratitude and appreciation  for what is! I have no reason to FEAR! I have soooo much to be GRATEFUL for!

I don’t wake up everyday feeling HEALTHY and HAPPY… I really don’t…but I get to choose my experience and I choose HAPPINESS!

Affirmations, Meditation, Prayer, Crystal healing, Chanting, Books, Journaling, Audiobooks, and lectures as well as many other things I will share with you are my tools of transformation.

Transformation Tuesday – Unified Field Meditation

I find meditation in the morning or at night helps to keep me balanced in life. I also like to keep a gratitude journal with a daily list of 10 different things I am grateful for each day. Doing all this puts my mind in a  healthy, happy place! 🙂

Thankful Challenge

 

 

Happy Soulful Sunday luvs,

This week I was challenged  by my friend Tammy Alvarez to join in on a “Thankful Challenge”

For 5 days you write down 3 things you’re grateful for. I actually keep a Gratitude journal and write 10 things I am grateful for every night before I go to bed. So this would be easy for me, EXCEPT … I’ve never shared! Until now, so here I am on the last day and I would like to share my thankful list with you.

I also challenge anyone who would like to share their list as well!

I am Thankful!

1. Health

I am so thankful for my good health, to be able to breathe air into my lungs yet another day is such a privilege!  To experience love, and creativity, to connect, build and master this thing  called  life is such a blessing!  life is a blessing! To see, touch, taste ,smell and feel all this earth has to offer me  fills me with so much gratitude. Health is wealth! Without it nothing else matters! Healthy mind, healthy body, healthy spirit!

2. Relationships

I am so grateful for all my relationships in my life…The good, the bad and the ugly, because they have all taught me a great deal about myself…How to love unconditionally, how to love self, how to be selfless, how to laugh, how to cry, how to let go, how to have fun, how to live in the moment, how to be alone, how to be balanced, how to be strong and the list goes on. life lessons for sure and it’s not over yet…each day I am expanding, evolving and  learning  something new everyday and I am so grateful for every lesson!

3.

I AM Consciousness

I am thankful that I am creating my own reality, and that I have the power to do so. That all I AM resides already within. That I can move past any obstacles that life brings me, That I AM able to live in this moment, and step into an abundance mindset where I can manifest my true potential and master my greatness, and most of all I AM thankful that I can connect with so many  beautiful kindred spirits like yourself!

How to create a vision board

 

Where we place our attention is what we will create for ourselves.

When you realise the truth in this sentence, the power and possibilities that open up for you are limitless. This is why I am a massive fan of The Vision Board. I try to do a new one each year, revisiting where I am and comparing that with where I want to be. And each year I update my vision board with new pics, quotes, and words that represent the future I want to create for myself.

Vision boards are the ultimate in manifestation. They serve as a tool to keep you inspired, keep you on track, and keep you motivated. You know all of the Law Of Attraction stuff? Well, creating a vision board and sticking it in your line of sight, is an awesome way to communicate with the Universe about what you would like to collaborate on in your life. Plus, they are fun to make!

HOW TO CREATE A VISION BOARD

There are no real rules when it comes to creating a visual interpretation of your hopes and dreams. This is why everyone’s board is so different.  But if you’re the kind of person who appreciates a little guidance, here are some basic steps to follow.

1. Think.

Find a quiet place to sit or lie, where you will be able to seek enough solace to get your daydream on.  Spend some time with your thoughts. Allow your mind to wander into the most inspired future you can visualise for yourself. Ask yourself these questions:

“Who am I surrounded by?”
“Where do I live?”
“What do I do for work?”
“Who are my mentors?”
“What do I look like?”
“How much money do I earn?”
“How do I feel?”
“What do I want to be?”
“What do I want to do?”
“What do I want to have?” (Material possessions are totally fine here!)
“What will make me excited?”

2. Seek.

Now go ahead and find images, words, quotes and affirmations that remind you of all of the images you see in your future. All of the people you want to meet and be around, the places you want to live in and visit, the events you want to experience, the accomplishments you want to reach, the feelings you want to emulate, and the emotions you want to fill your cells with. Use Google ImagesCompfightFlickr, or Pinterest to find images online. Or, flick through magazines.

3. Create.

Buy a corkboard or just any old board and pin or stick your images to it. Previously I have just randomly tacked images to a pin board, but this year I went virtual and created my board in Google Picasa.
